My name is Lily, and I’m really excited to be part of the S-Lesson learning community. *** Key points at a glance *** -- I’m especially good at teaching pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary, and I love helping students speak more clearly and confidently. -- I’ve been teaching since high school, where I started out as an English tutor—it’s been a passion ever since! -- I enjoy talking about all kinds of topics, so lessons are always interesting and tailored to your interests. -- I welcome all types of students—whether you’re quiet or bubbly, introverted or extroverted, you’ll feel comfortable in my class. -- I can be a bit shy in my personal life, but when I teach, I’m open, encouraging, and ready to connect with each learner. -- I especially love teaching children, and I always aim to make lessons fun, engaging, and supportive. *** A Bit About Me *** I’ve always loved languages, both learning and teaching them. In 2024, I completed a teacher training program where I learned how to create fun, clear, and engaging lessons for students of all ages. Now I’m excited to bring those skills to our classroom. I’m originally from Germany and German is my first language, but I’ve been using English daily for 17 years. I love how it connects people and ideas from around the world, and I hope to help you enjoy learning it too. Right now I’m also teaching a course at the University of Tübingen, where I once studied myself. It’s been such a rewarding experience and has shown me how much I enjoy helping others learn. I always aim to be kind, patient, and flexible so you can feel comfortable, supported, and confident every step of the way. I’m looking forward to getting to know you and learning together!
